2019 - BBC Gardeners World Live - Harborne Botanics

After joining the Association of Professional Landscapers in 2018 we were asked to design and build a garden as part of their feature 'APL Avenue' within BBC Gardeners World Live at the NEC in Birmingham

'Harborne Botanics', was designed by Toby Pritchard of Creative Roots as a garden inspired by the owners love for travel. With lush and exotic planting surrounding the clean lines of the water feature and hardwood decking the intention was to transport you to a more tropical climate.

As show gardens go this was an ambitious build considering the details and two separate water features but the guys 'dug in' and despite the bad weather pulled it off.

The end result was a 'Silver Merit' award, just a few points off Gold and on press day it was the only garden the BBC chose to feature with an interview by Adam Frost of Gardeners World.
